Pu’uwai hosts two races during the regular paddling season. In the spring we have the Buddy Peters Long Distance Race and during the summer we hold a regatta. These races are a part of our fundraising opportunities for our club, where we can run food booths and sell club merchandise.

Our club members also participate within our community and donate their time to various events and activities that allow us to bring in funds that go to the running and maintenance of the canoes, facilities, and equipment.
